The Volunteers Programme:

If you're between 16 and 25 and enjoy life, rise to challenges and care about others, then you'll love being a 'Volunteer' on a Prince's Trust Volunteers Programme. Volunteers work in teams to help others in the community. You'll meet and work with young adults from different backgrounds. You'll make new friends, grow in confidence and develop skills that will help you take a big step forward in your life. Most find jobs or move into full-time education or training following participation in the programme.

Each programme lasts 12 weeks (with a 20 day option if you are employed), and leads to nationally recognised qualifications.

The Programme:

Stage 1:Induction and Residential Team-building
Stage 2:Community Project - Individual Work Placements
Stage 3:Next Steps - activities to enable individuals to plan for the future
Stage 4:Final Team Challenge in the community
Stage 5:Final Review and Presentation
