The Business Programme:

Through the Business Programme The Prince's Trust is able to offer clients the following:

  1. A low interest loan of up to £5,000
  2. Test marketing grants of up to £250
  3. Bursaries of up to £1,500 (£3,000 where there are two or more partners)
  4. Up to three years support from a voluntary business mentor from the local business community
  5. Other support, including: IT training, logo design, discounted web site design, help with your marketing strategy, discounted exhibition space and specialist advice.
Loans and Bursaries:

The Prince's Trust offers loans and bursaries to small start-up businesses that have exhausted all other sources of funding. All Applicants for bursaries and loans should be:

  1. Aged 18 - 30
  2. Unemployed, under employed or of limited means
  3. Able to clearly demonstrate that they are unable to raise all the necessary finance from banks, families or other sources, i.e. The Prince's Trust is the last resort funder
  4. Have completed an appropriate business training course (LEDU Business Start Training is sufficient), and have a viable business plan.
