Background


The Prince's Trust Northern Ireland was set up in 1976. It is now the largest cross community charity investing in young people. In November 1999 the Trust merged its operation (which previously consisted of three separate functions - Prince's Trust Volunteers, Prince's Youth Business Trust, and Prince's Trust Action), to form The Prince's Trust Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland Prince's Trust Chairman, Sir David Fell KCB and his Council have responsibility for the strategic development and quality delivery of all programmes and services in Northern Ireland. Individual Council members have comprehensive experience in the private, public and voluntary sectors.
