Cinekill Films are based at the Workshops Collective near Botanic Avenue in Belfast. This is an exciting base where several artists gave joined their diverse skills to present a collective force in the creative sector. Each business has it's own workspace and is self run, but weekly meetings and regular joint projects bring a distinctive and innovative quality to their work. The businesses at The Workshops Collective:

Stonecarver: Claire Sampson.

With a degree in sculpture, a City and Guilds in stone masonry and a long list of prestigious clients, Claire has a reputation as one of the finest stone carvers in Ireland. Using specialised tools and by working closely with clients, Claire carves incredible works of art for both inside and outside the home. Claire has been at the Collective since 1992.

Artist: Michael Dunn

Michael graduated from Manchester University with an honours degree in art and illustration and has been based at the collective since 1995. His paintings of local pubs and buildings are well known throughout Northern Ireland and have won him many awards. Michael has exhibited in London, Manchester and Belfast.

Stain Glass Artist: Maria Di Lucia

Specialising in Macintosh and Art Nouveau stylings, Maria's leaded light work is done mainly to commission for commercial and private clients. With a degree in Architectural Stain Glass Maria has a vast knowledge of period work and contemporary designs. A member of the Collective since 1996 Maria also works in Mosaic and mirror art for commissions and direct retail.

Joinery and Carpentry: Helen Crickard and Martin Carter

Jionery & CarpentryCo-founders of the Collective in 1988, Martin and Helen have an immense knowledge of joinery, carpentry, modern design and antique restoration. Their emphasis on the use of recycled materials and utilising indigenous crafting skills have brought them clients from throughout the world. Martin and Helen will take a concept through each stage to produce the finished article, usually including work from other collective members, and example of this is the recently refurbished Ruby Tuesday's restaurant in Stranmillis.
